The skin’s Natural Moisture Factor (NMF) contains up to 42% free amino acids. The amino acids found in pearl include aspartic acid, threonine, serine, alanine, phenylalanine, arginine, methionine, glycine, glutamic acid, glycine, leucine, valine, proline, tyrosine, cysteine and histidine.
Pearls contain as much as 56% protein with the remaining composition including calcium, magnesium, zinc, iron, strontium, copper, selenium, silicon and titanium.
Hyaluronic acid is a protein that is naturally produced by glycosaminoglycans in the dermis and can bind its own weight in water over 1000 times. The essential oil blend also contains grapefruit, mandarin, orange and bergamot.
